BTRFTG
City I've no idea but as a kid I think the answer for English football used to be Stan Mortensen (14 or so?)

Oh Louie louie
Mark robins had a blinding run. Taylor scored one year every round up tll the fifth in the fa cup i think? Can recall paul goddard going on a blinding run at newcastle. Lita might be up there. Recall going in the bookies once for a cup game against cheltenham, he was the smallest price i ever saw to score the first. 15/
richwwtk
Jermaine Defoe, very early in his career, went on loan to Bournemouth and scored in his first ten matches for them. I'm sure that was the record at the time though it might have been beaten by then?
ExiledAjax
Didn't Vardy do 11 in the prem a couple of seasons ago? I think that is the Premier League record. Who knows what ours is. In recent times I can't think of anyone who could gave done more than 2 or 3. Oh Louie louie
Good shout above. Thing was when he arrived there, the cherrys manager, said he looks like a schoolboy he wont get us out this mess. Safe to say he called that one wrong. Think it was o driscoll who said that to redknapp.
Davefevs
Sorry, I meant for City. 38 minutes ago, Gazred said: For us... Goater? We talking global football here or English game? Yes, Goater rings a bell….but just checked 11v11 and looks like it’s not. Going back to my old football books wondered if it was someone like Don Clark? ExiledAjax
Tammy did 4 in the league. Wolves on Boxing day, then Ipswich on 30 Dec, 2 v Reading on NYD, and then Cardiff on 14 Jan. But, there was the FA cup 0-0 with Fleetwood on 7 Jan - in which he didn't score. So 5 in 4 in the league, but broken by a cup game. Edited December 15, 2021 by ExiledAjax

Yep , just seen Dave Twitter Post with the run. In my defence, my books separate the Cups from the Leagues so not always easy to see the timeline. 1

BTRFTG
Against us I'd be amazed if it wasn't David Kelly. You'd put your mortgage on him scoring as soon as you saw his name on the teamsheet.
Edgy Red
I think David Seal went on a decent scoring run when he played for us but not sure if it was in consecutive games? There could well have been a game or 2 where he didn't get on the scoresheet?
