What the Middlesbrough press thought of the 2-1 defeat

Never to the dark side

I thought Boro looked like a good side that couldn't finish, again we conceed from a cross. We defended ok with Bentley making some excellent last ditch saves and there attacking looked potent.

Not sure if I have misjudged it but I'm not sure we will see many games as one sided where we walk away with 3 points.

Boro will walk the play offs imo if their play translates into enough goals. Wilder knows his onions at this level and they are full of very decent players. That was a really hard earned win for us and the frustrating thing for everyone is that for a win like yesterday we also have to endure getting gubbed by a Swansea side that are NOWHERE near the level of Boro, not even close.

Yes, we conceded from a cross but I think we have to be fair and give credit where it is due yesterday because Middlesbrough slung in 8 or 9 top notch deliveries yesterday of far higher quality than the steaming hot turd we conceded from last week and apart from the last one we stood right up to it. Think of the solid two minutes defending right on half time for a start.............

Absolutely, I just wish we could be dominant like Boro or at least stop giving opposition wave after wave of attacks.

Anyway we've got the 3 points and don't look like getting close to relegation so I'm happy enough.
