Information for those that commute via Bedminster / Parson Street

Just a heads up that these two stations now both have ticket machines installed. 

This means that they are now part of the penalty fare scheme in the area. 

Depending on the guard on your train / at your arriving station they 'could' charge you the £20 penalty fare. 

This only really applies to those who start their journey at a station without barriers

That is good as it means there is a future for both stations.

Does that mean the guard or ticket inspectors on the train will take a hit on their commission. That’s a bit of a shame if so. I’d much rather buy off them and put a bit extra in their wages. Could be a completely wrong assumption on my part though.

Doesn't take cash though so if you want to pay cash you'll need to buy on board or at another station.
