1960maaan
I imagine there would have been a few on here that may have liked to see him here. Just seen on Twitter; With our injuries we could probably have used him ourselves . Forest midfielder Harry Arter has joined Notts County in the National League on loan. Forest paid £5 million for him last season Hell of loan signing, I guess it's due to being outside of the "Window" , and Notts Co. being National League. Some drop all the same. GrahamC
Paid a rumoured £5m for him last season, imagine the meltdown on here if either Holden or Pearson had done that & the bloke was then on loan in non league a year later. Forest are definitely doing something best described as “creative” to get around FFP..

They are definitely sailing close to the wind this season….and are trying the “lost transfer income” route, like Gould mentioned….£12m’s wort(!!!) Can’t wait to see this season’s accounts (next year) and their amortisation numbers, and whether there’s a transfer loss / impairment in there!!! Silvio Dante
This is actually one of those moves I like to see, and I assume it doesn’t hurt that Arter came from non league originally. Most players would quite happily sit and take the wage, and at the age of 32, wouldn’t be putting themselves up as a target to be kicked in non league. He clearly wants to play and doesn’t care who for, he just wants a game. That’s one of a dying breed of ex prem players with the money in the game these days. Good luck to him.
