And now.... the end is near..

Don't really start new threads on the forum anymore as i like to keep myself to myself when it comes to City, as anybody who may or may not know me off of this forum . I have been for many many years  a more positive than negative person when it comes to our beloved football club. Bristol City will be the death of me , i'm certain of it. However, one thing i am struggling to find is any enthusiasm towards our regime under 'Nige' .

in his 20 months within this football club. February 2021- November 2022. We have gone from strength to weakness, weakness to strength and straight back to weakness. Even now, i find myself trying to look from pillar to post to find comprehension for this. Wether it be Zonal to man marking debates, man management styles or even 'brisk walks across the mendips' . The evaluation seems to find itself in a dizzying decline and a sleep walk to relegation. Our current form is a 9 points from an available 36, hell of an effort.

Now i'm getting to my point rather than just rambling on as an introduction to my thought process when it comes to everything.

Surely now it's time for Nigel to step aside. His record is the same across several different clubs. Hull as one example and derby as another. He hasn't had 'Johnson money' to work with admittedly but what he has signed has been nye on average at best

King- time and time again has been poor on the pitch when he has been asked to step in. Last night was the latest in a long line of showings dating back to QPR at home when he was sent for two bookings that even a schoolboy woud've been scolded for.

Simpson- less said the better

James- Ok , he's beginning to show abit more endeavour now but it has taken him 14 months. Last year always injured and this year injured several weeks already.

tanner, klose, atkinson several more to boot who have been in or out of a side through inconsistencies in the camp. I could go on but the first thing he said was give me 3 transfer windows. He has had them and produced more this than that.

Next up you begin to look at the change of style and formation. Wingers, something our club is almost synomonous for.. Disappeared off the face of the earth. I still struggle to fathom 'why?' ..it's not for exciting wingback bombing or for fluid transitional first time stuff.. even the win at Blackburn where people would liken our football to city of old, was still lathargic in terms of defensive frailties.

I'm just trying to gauge opinions and express my own views on this and start what may be a debate or i may just wander down a rabbit hole. But for me as much as Lee was given alot of time. It turned extremely sour, i think Nige has taken us as far as he can and it's time to move aside to find somebody new with a different style and different approach, someone like linders or Osian roberts who have philosophies developed overtime periodically, anyway just wanted to gauge opinions.
