Never to the dark side
Weiman not playing up front Semenyo not starting and Messsengo not in contention Before the Millwall game Weiman had hit the woodwork twice in two seperate games. At the Millwall game for those who watched it live on your screens,or were there live, three incidents stood out. In the moments around the Semeymo miss, Weiman had two great chances, one that he fired wide, and the other when wells fired a cross into the box and the ball hit weiman although I don't think it was shown. Weiman has got out of the habit of knowing where the goal is,and its not his fault, because of where he is being asked to play This is where the similarities are with snooker golf and darts,if you don't keep fireing off those darts, you forget where the double tops was. W-S-M Seagull
Although presumably Weimann practices shooting every day in training? 1
Never to the dark side
So what you your saying is that Weiman plays at the back in the first team, and plays up front in training?

I don't think they play 11 v 11 all day every day. They no doubt do lots of shooting drills that he would take part in. What did Haaland say after the Leeds game? He was disappointed to only score 2 so he must practice harder.

sglosbcfc
Wiemann doesn't regularly score 20 goals per season, last season was an anomalous season. He'll hit double figures though and that is nothing to do with darts. Edited December 31, 2022 by sglosbcfc
Nomad
I think the atmosphere has left football and now lives at the Ally Pally.

Galley is our king
Yes i see your point but the way the team is set up allows Weiman to get forward. Against Watford? He got into the box and delivered a brilliant header which would normally have hit the back of the net but for an outstanding save. He then had a dribble into the box. Both of these chances were because he arrived late and was not marked. He scored 20 goals last season and also played right wingback last season. He's an outstanding athlete and will always give 100% and positively affect the game wherever he plays.
