Not too bothered about the gap between us & those above us.

It's those below us that are the main concern.

If we can't win games, then we are going to have to hope that the teams below us aren't able to make us pay for it.

It is way too close for comfort at the moment.!

Burnley 2 up at Swansea. Looks like they're bouncing straight back up- in fact I'd say the top two look fairly nailed on, just a question of what order tbh.

Both on not far off +1 GD per game. Yeh they're going up.

I’m sure there’s a reason they’re below us

2-0 now

That point at Boro in Carrick’s first home game looks a very good one, in hindsight.

Ipswich dropping out of automatics…wonder how much Ashton will splash money wise in January now then.

One down now. Penalty, the ref told the Ipswich defenders twice to stop holding in the area at a corner but they did it a third time and he points straight to the spot.

Pretty stupid some footballers.

But but but but, we played poorly and were lucky to get a point so it doesn’t count ?

More interested in the teams below us. Hoping Wigan will take one relegation spot - Kolo Toure was a big gamble. Huddersfield and Blackpool are mud - Rotherham and Cardiff are little better but will scrap out results.

Really disappointing we’re here again - the squad is better than this.

3 days after we played well but lost against Sheff Utd, where the result was the only thing that mattered.

Watford, having lost 3 players to hamstring injuries, have just gone 1 up at Norwich.

Have LJ and Ashton’s medical team made their way to Watford?

I think Rotherham and Wigan are nailed on for the drop, and I suspect Huddersfield will join them (but hope Cardiff do).

As regards our current position,,viewing the table I'm seeing us as third in a league of eight right now - with the bottom three taking the plunge...

Goal difference is & may well be our friend- if we continue to defend as stoutly as of late.

Me too, think Huddersfield might escape, Blackpool or Cardiff more likely for me.

Fair to say he is not the most popular gentleman on their forums

Struggle to see where LJ goes from here to be honest. Can’t ever see him getting a job in the championship again.

Rotherham if Warne was still there could be lower midtable IMO. Not now though but they seemed tough on the road and competitive in different ways vs everyone at home..v lower and lower mid sides they could be quite attacking and vs middle and upper sides they would be resilient.

He built that squad, got the most out of them, him leaving is a major boost for anyone battling around the bottom third to lower midtable IMO.

Boro really showing the benefit of the new manager bounce. Made me wonder whether SL ever managed to change manager and get that kind of effect. Cotterill maybe but that was only really after a good transfer window. We probably have had a good bounce on changing boss at some point and I've just forgotten it.

If we could manage 2 points per game from now on we could sneak into the play offs.

I’ve just had a look at the League One table and I couldn’t believe Plymouth! I know they were doing well but they’re absolutely bossing that league…

6 points clear of 3rd, FIFTEEN points clear of 4th. Crazy

Why?

What on earth have Ipswich got to do with BCFC?

Mark Ashton, our former CEO, is now the CEO of Ipswich. While he was with us, some of his financial decisions had a negative impact on our club.

The ***t who had a huge say in putting this club onits knees financially and then ran as fast as he could from the mess he created, is now their CEO. Surprised you didn’t know.

OK- got it now.

I couldn't give a toss about MA or Ipswich or is it the case that until BCFC see success again anything to the contrary is purely down to MA and by extension- Ipswich?

Perhaps we should organise a march to get our club back?

I don't understand how you arrived at the idea that our success is dependent on the failure of Ipswich or Ashton. It is nice to see a snake squirm, though

I think you'll find we have our own squirming issues to deal with atm. Ipswich are less than irrelevant.
