Pompey sack the Cowley's

Really thought Portsmouth was a good fit for them. Have a soft spot from their time at Braintree, I did think the Huddersfield move was wrong. Lincoln seemed on the up , but I had high hopes at Pompey. Not sure where they go from here.

3 points behind the Gas with 3 games in hand....... Perhaps Joey was right, you can't play 4-4-2 in League 1 any more. :)

They were doing pretty poorly so no real shock.

A PE teacher!  according to Joey.

FWIW I always thought Cowley was a bit of a gobshite - glad he didn't end up here as was rumoured while the 6 week thorough and rigorous process was playing out.

Probably similar to other clubs looking at Lee Johnson.

From the outside they are young, modern coaches. The right face for a progressive football club.

I wouldn’t class Cowley as a particularly modern coach.
