Oh Louie louie
That board and Osman were made for each other, if Gary Shelton had got the job, some of the names mentioned wouldn't even have got a job as ballboys,

Compared to other team members at the time, he was absolutely golden. Munro was ok, bags experience and in the side that beat Liverpool in perhaps our greatest night ever on the road… He was RB And Andy Llewelyn LB. Over 8000 City at Anfield…and the kop applauding BCFC at the end and I recall Stuart Munro pointing at the kop in almost disbelief…. Him and Jack Hunt very similar playing styles. Bedred31
Midweek away game at Brighton, early 90’s, and Osman chipped a ball into the away end during the warm up. Gallantly I leant to the left, thereby avoiding a direct hit and ensuring that the ball crashed into the midriff of the woman sat behind me, where it deposited a carton of coffee over a very expensive looking fur coat. Mrs Osman was not best pleased. “Christ, what a prat”, was only one of her responses, referring to our player/ manager, not me. And, sadly, I was tempted to agree.

So the left footed Munro was right back and the right footed Llewellyn was left back? No wonder we won with tactics like that. Even Osman wasn't that daft. Oh Louie louie
In robbie fowler's book he says the Bristol fans were allover Liverpool all-day they sang non stop and infiltrated every stand, something like that he says, spot on Robbie

Oh Louie louie
I dunno if anyone has asked shelts if he had the courtesy of a interview, unlike Russel he knew that division, with that board I doubt he did. You would think aize and shelts were interviewed by any sensible board

Crackers Corner
I remember reading that Souness was sat in the next room listening to Osmans team talk at Anfield and couldn't believe his luck. Then we beat them.

Oh Louie louie
In a nutshell we had forwards who couldn't score on a Stag weekend in Amsterdam and defender's who couldn't Knock the skin of a rice pudding as for swapping Thompson for may, to say we had our pants pulled down there is the understatement of the year.
steveybadger
Oh but those 2 and a half games v Liverpool, when we kept the solid back line, knocked the ball around like Barcelona but with Junior B up front….. Did that make up for the rest of the turgid tosh? Hhhmmm.
