fair enough,I did not see the orgional posting, still don't really know what its all about

Thank you for your interest. Hopefully I can explain clearly what this is.

Firstly it's an initiative by a group called Fair Game. It's nothing official from the EFL, FA, or Premier League, or any other football body.

The aim is to rate and rank the top two divisions. The ratings are across four sectors: financial sustainability, governance, fan engagement, and equality. Each club gets a score in each of those areas, and those four scores are added together to give a total out of 100. Bristol City have scored 46.6.

The idea comes from a desire to see football's riches, and in particular the TV money, distributed in a way that encourages clubs to do well in these four areas.

It's a proof of concept at this stage, and no money is being spread around in this way. However, it is supported by some of the people involved in the fan led review and those who will be involved in the creation of the new independent regulator, so we might see it used in some capacity one day.

Currently though it's a curiosity.

Championship sustainability, not to be confused with Championship ready e.g. sprinklers that will never be used in a Championship environment.
