If all blocks released, it would be 1,600 sold now as OS saying just under 1,200 left…..can’t see it being this many already…..

Surprised to hear that many, possible not all blocks have been released for sale yet?

Nothing showing on the official site regarding any details.

Only Sunderland and Huddersfield showing.

If you don't sign in the game appears for some reason and lets you click on it and then shows you how many of each are left.

It doesn't show if you're signed in though and not allowed to purchase yet.

Seriously, where do you go for ticket sales. No link anywhere that I can find.

I just went to Away ticket section. It was clearly there. Just bought 2.

Is it because it knows I,m not in priority 1 category and wont show up until 2pm today? That would make sense.

Correct.  Same for me.

Maybe. I'm a ST holder so get priority. Was well over a thousand left.

Only shows up if you have been to enough away games this season. Otherwise they will have to wait until 2pm.

Thanks.

Very odd that.

I am always signed in, so that's why it never showed.

If I log out, it suddenly appears, but with no option to buy (presumably because I haven't been to enough away games).

If I log back in, it disappears!!!

:dunno:

I never realised that if you werent in the priority to buy it wouldnt show up. I assumed that it would show up but when you tried to purchase, would then tell you why you couldn't. As a ST holder this is the first instance I have come across where I am not Priority 1.

Thanks didn't realise that. I've been to 5 away so that explains it.

I haven't been to Cardiff since the Ninian Park days, what's it like these days can you get a drink before the game anywhere near the ground?

Haven’t Been able to last two years unfortunately since the great western got trashed! Last season I had my 11 year old lad with me no colours and they still didn’t let us in anywhere

Last season all pubs in Cardiff or certainly around the centre and ground were closed until kick off which was 12 or 12.30, can’t remember exactly

You haven’t missed much , ( apart from us winning a few times there ) ninian park a much better experience / atmosphere in my eyes , not to everybody’s liking though

Our average away following is 850ish, there’s no way we’ve sold that many, they just haven’t released all for sale yet. I doubt even 1000 have been to 3 plus aways.

unlike the blues who avg 1850ish

where do you find that info?

All I did was use those figures that were posted on here a month ago, add 804 (Preston attendance) and divide by 13 (number of away games).

Realised we’ve had 14 away games not 13 so that brings the figure down to 964.

Will be back above 1000 after the next 2 away games.

Did they only release the seated tickets after the others were gone? I didn't see an option so have the safe standing tickets but not sure if my dad will want to stand for 90 minutes although I know at away games most people stand anyway.

I was so much in a hurry to get 3 tickets, I didn't even see there was an option between seats and safe standing.

Assume it will be ok for my 8 year old son to see from?

It’s just seat with a rail  in front to lean on ,hold onto. We have the same in section 82 corner

I thought that Children were not allowed in there?

It looks mega from our upper Lansdown family tickets, devoid of almost any atmosphere whatsoever ?

Kids are allowed in our safe standing corner, shouldn’t have any issues.

You'll have to learn to speak with a Welsh accent!

Plenty of "boyo"s and "there's lovely"s.

You should have no problem in finding someone who wants to swap their seated ticket for a standing one.

I went there about 2 years or so ago. Made our own way there so got to the match early, went to KFC just outside the ground, both sets of fans mingled together no problem, was the same for McDonalds only yards away too.

The match was a 12.30 ko so afterwards we went back into the shopping area and did a bit of retail therapy. A couple of hours later it seemed quiet enough so decided to go and get food at Wetherspoons, cheap and cheerful.

We were refused entry as we could not provide proof of a Welsh/Cardiff address! We had no club colours at all, we were two females armed with shopping bags and yet we couldn't get in any pub, and this was around 4 hours after the match had finished! We even tried saying we were just in Cardiff shopping, but nope, no non Cardiff/Welsh were getting in!

Crazy isn’t it. Yet when they come to AG we let them in pubs away from ground

The worst kind ??? conjuring up all these kind of images!

How do you manage to buy away tickets Dave if you have a carer, I’m constantly missing out because it won’t let me buy on line, pointless ringing because you can never get through and they won’t even help out if you go to down there in person.

You didn't have shopping bags full of Stone Island by any chance, that may explain it !!?

Just seen last seasons allocation was 2,450. Do we think the increase is due to the safe standing?

It's lowered by 10% in those areas

I don’t do many away games, but I have to phone up.  Obviously wouldn’t want to be phoning when there’s another match being sold, but sometimes there’s no other option.

Thanks Dave, doesn’t seem right to me, missed out again for an away game for the umpteenth time just because I can’t buy on-line like everyone else, absolutely impossible to try to get hold of anyone on the phone, surprised the club are allowed to get away with it

Not sure if you are trying to buy wheelchair plus career, or general seats plus carer.  Less wheelchair plus cater tend to go away, so it’s not really been an issue.  But something it’s worth emailing Jerry about if it’s in a non-wheelchair area.

Non-wheelchair, the fact is that I’m not given the same opportunity as every other season ticket holder when trying to purchase tickets for popular away fixtures, oh well what should I expect after over 50 years of support, I don’t seem to remember having a problem getting a ticket for Northampton away when we were 92nd in the league and watching a 7-1 defeat!!!!

Yeah, I totally get that that’s unfair.

For info, usually you’ll get the day 1 - online only, day 3 - phones etc.  you don’t have to wait til day 3, just phone them on day 1 and tell them online isn’t possible, and they’ll sort on the phone.  I know that might still require hanging on the line, but likely that wait times will be shorter.

I’d suggest raising with Jerry or Gareth Torpy.

That’s not good sorry to hear that. Out of interest why are you not able to buy online? Sorry if there is a private reason this isn’t possible?

I haven’t seen bouncers on pub doors in the city centre daytime, stay away from the ones that attract football fans like spoons and you’ll be fine. There’s about 50,000 (mainly English or non welsh) students in cardiff aswell as shoppers from allover so I’d be amazed if an accent stopped you getting in anywhere…..

go off the beaten track a bit maybe….

As I said in my case it wasn't an accent but the fact I couldn't show a Cardiff/Welsh address. Obviously students you mention would be able to generally.
