We were losing 1-0 which Paul Heffernan scored before it was abandoned. Denis Law had scored all 6 goals for Manchester City who were winning 6-2 away at Luton when torrential rain forced the match to be abandoned in the 69th minute. When it was announced that it was being abandoned, it got the biggest cheer of the night. We were dreadful. Game abandoned at Half Time. Hunter was having a great time...fouling a Leeds player, a blast of the refs whistle and Norman disappeared into the fog (again). Not on that level. but the ref abandoned a foggy Sunday league game I played in after someone inadvertently (I think) booted the ball straight into the back of his head knocking him off his feet.
