At their peak season in the championship for us...who was better ?

I went for Bobby. From starting the season as a player we would have been happy to sell for peanuts for banging in 20 and being the catalyst for the press and a style of play we were beginning to be known for.

Those 15 odd games ending in the Wolves game it felt like we were unbeatable.

That first season from Elliott though is still the best individual season from a player I’ve seen. Every game he was the fastest, strongest, everywhere on the pitch, making tackles, arriving late in the box, pushing someone over. He was great!

Imagine a prime Marv alongside Scott and James in the current team!

Went for Nicky Maynard 

At least as far as my nostalgia-tinted memories go, he scored from 25 yards every time he had a shot.

It's fair enough. As is @Percy Pigs shout of Scott.

Ultimately it's kind of like comparing a lion, a shark, and an eagle. They're all bloody brilliant at what they do but you'd never want to use one to do the other's job, and direct comparison is really impossible.

Realise he's not the most popular figure any more, but it was Maynard for me. A 3 way debate between him, Webster and Tammy, but Maynard in 08-10 is about complete as a striker gets, scored every single type of goal. Run very close by the other 2
