pillred
Would you prefer Burnley to beat Blackburn tonight and already be champions before they play us, or would you rather they needed to beat us to do it? I would like to see how we do against a Premier League-bound team that needs to go for it. Edited April 25 by pillred
sephjnr
I'm more concerned about if QPR need to beat us on the final day to stay up. Burnley would like the result but don't need it.
WWred
I must admit i did enjoy us being Brighton's party poopers when they went up! 10

Whilst not wanting to lose the QPR game I wouldn't say I was in any way concerned about the result, if Burnley don't win tonight they may well need it though the results would have to be pretty incredible for them not to do it anyway. Betty Swallocks
Isn’t the benefit of mid-table mediocrity being able to enjoy the end of the season without having to worry about results?

steviestevieneville
If they do win the league tonight . Will we give them a guard of honour on Saturday ?
sh1t_ref_again
Quite happy to lose against QPR if it meant Reading or Cardiff going down

No point being bitter about parachute payments . It’s a unfair advantage no doubt & has caused lots of problems for clubs financially trying to chase the dream. They’re still champions though

Davefevs
Don’t like guard of honour stuff, but happy for us to be respectful if they’ve won the title….and then show them zero respect when the game starts. I’m sure they’d rather have their GoH at Turf Moor though???

If on the last day their was any chance with five to go of Cardiff going down If QPR score I wouldn’t be bothered If they did. Now that would be a party (watch this space)

Super
Couldn't care less tbh they will prob win tonight. QPR is a bigger game as want to send them down Edited April 25 by Super
RoystonFoote'snephew
If Burnley win tonight I don't believe Saturday becomes any easier. Not only don't I think Kompany would allow them to ease off, but they'd still be on for a 100 point season. A milestone worth shooting for. 22A
April 1976; last game of the season. City's players were hung over still as after the Tuesday night they had attended receptions and celebrations each night since. Notts Co won the game but formed up at the end to aplaud City.
AppyDAZE
As already pointed out. Not keen on a guard of honour for the parachute payments, and in effect, that's what you're doing . Edited April 26 by AppyDAZE
