I know it was going to happen, Wilder was short term, but Valérien Ismaël is the new Manager.
It was due as they've only had 3 this year. That takes it , by my arithmetic , to 21 managers in 10 years

That has to be a record.

Does their board understand football . New manager is a long ball merchant . They don’t have the squad to play it

Manager don’t have a say on who signs.

Just get told to get on with whatever squad they are given which is probably part of problem as players quickly decide if they like him or not .

This chap likes physical players - well we hardly have any now and not confident we will get those sorts in either .

Fans have actually backed a few sackings in the past but do think it has got silly in the part 2 seasons - particularly the Edwards one.

For anyone not keeping track, this is a summary courtesy of BBC

It's a category on "Pointless" all by itself.

Especially as he might take Luton up

Even at another club, I'm not convinced I'd see Ismael as a long-term appointment. As Watford manager, I'd not bet on him lasting until the start of the season.

Long-term appointment is not part of Watford's vocabulary.
