Watford's 2,000 sounds a bit undercooked, surely we take more than that?

Mind you, imagine Luton's away allocation in the prem..."50, oh, go on then, 55...that includes the players, mind"

2,000 is what they allocate, we only just sold it out.

I personally can see them struggling next season.. They have never spent anymore than 500k on a player and with the gap between League 1 and the championship ever increasing, without some really clever recruitment done on the cheap (never easy as we all know at this level) then i get the feeling their stay in the championship could be fairly short..

Will also be a nightmare attracting players down there aswell, it’s not even as if they have a big wage budget to tempt players financially either.

To a certain extent, this always surprises me.

I understand footballers have a short career and, as predominantly young, single men, frequently seek the bright lights and nightlife, but the thought of a couple of years in Devon (not in Plymouth itself) compared to inner city Lancashire or Yorkshire (of course they wouldn’t live in downtown Burnley or Bradford) must surely be quite appealing?
