Back spasm.

Hopefully that’s a short term thing.

Back spasms are generally short term, physio can normally work through them quickly.  I've have a trapped nerve in my neck, it causes my neck muscle to tighten and spasm.  My Dr normally prescribes muscle relaxer but my physio deep tissue massage and it goes away for months.

McGuane is back in, and replaces Twine in the squad who is back out. Only ill though.

Apologies for my lateness. Took the nieces to see Santa. I’m sceptical as to whether it was the real one.

Need to turn this around second-half and win. Too many points already dropped this season, no more here boys.

Don't know if this has been mentioned on other threads but we know Twine missed today's match through 'illness'.

If others in the squad are harbouring similar symptoms/in the process of going down with the same bug, it might go some way to explaining today's woeful performance.

With that in mind I didn't think Zac's voice sounded great in his post match interview.

Just a thought, and Tuesday's squad will provide the answer.

Ian seems to be hinting without stating it outright, that McCrorie and Tanner will be back available come the weekend.

Both appear on the bench in his Predicted Team and Subs.

Should be a presser today shouldn’t there?

Still no Press Conference up last time I looked.

A little strange and late for a Saturday lunchtime game?

Happening as I type.

Twine no longer ill, McCrorie back.

Armstrong out with a “little” injury.

Having Ross back is a big boost. I thought he was looking v good before his injury. Am guessing he may well be on the bench instead if starting.

Tanner is "doing bits" apparently, my best guess is that means progressing nicely and maybe available for WBA Away?

Doing bits means something different on Love Island!

I still maintain it is a farce that Injury news or possibilities drip feed out by a favoured fan and this isn't any old fan or any jealousy but Ian Gay, a previously vocal critic now in the pocket of the Regime.

How many other Championship and above clubs operate in this way.

Quite a lot to chew on on that team sheet.

Tanner returns from injury and Morrison is also given a spot on the bench. Wells joins the injured ranks, and Cornick also misses out, I assume through competition.

Bird back into an advanced role and Mayulu starting as the 9… it’s certainly bold! COYR 🔴⚪

Happy Boxing Day folks! Hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas Day yesterday, and it gets better this afto!

Wells comes back into the squad, taking a place on the bench. Morrison makes way.

Bird deeper always makes me feel more confident. Also, Fally scores today. Also, I don’t like Luton. COYR. 🔴⚪

There is a thread saying. Naismith can go. Sykes apparently has an attitude problem and is playing for a place/can go…..who knows… not me!

Anyone got a timeline for these boys? is Sykes out of contract this June?

Yes, but a 1-yr option, assume club-option.

Yes it typically is.

However not taking it up will mean the blazingly obvious.

I like Sykes, always have, particularly his attitude on the pitch.

Same 20 players as our Boxing Day victory. I suppose there’s a chance that some of the lads listed below are fit or near as damn it, but out through competition. Namely, Naismith and Sykes. The other three are definitely injured. We’ll leave them on the list until we know otherwise!

Back to back wins? I bloody hope so. COYR. 🔴⚪

Same 20 players again. Nice consistency in keeping players available. It was also confirmed this week that all those on the list are indeed still out through injury and not just unable to break back in due to numbers. Sykes and Naismith are closest.

Morrison and Cornick come back in as Atkinson (on loan to Portsmouth) and Pring (injured) make way.

No return of Naismith means no centre-backs on the bench, making Atkinson’s loan look a little odd.

Manning says Naismith due back in full training and ought to be ready for consideration v Wolves (assuming no impact).

He also said Sykes also back to full training this week, but didn’t say ready for Wolves.

Think he said Josh Slowey (dropped the Campbell) has been out for 4 weeks…or did I mis-hear on BBCRB?

Heard it too re JCS. Didn’t realise he was injured. I really don’t like the Atkinson loan! I pray I’m proven wrong mind.

Was always a pretty shite draw really. Not very exciting but still difficult. Thought we grew into it.

McGuane went off, was it his head? All the best to him regardless. Knight and Bird now our only fit CM’s, but Earthy seemed happy enough there late on.

With Dickie back and Naismith and Sykes on the bench yesterday, we now have most back.

Manning said it was head.

Lets hope he 1) is fine, but 2) doesn’t have to go through an6 concussion protocols.
