In the first half, was the problem that we couldn't string any passes together..? Because looking at the team that started the game, there were no ball-players there,Doherty and Orr are tough ball-winners and then there was just legs and pace around them but no real ball-players....

..agreed?

I'd of liked Woodman,Goodfellow and Miller to start....

Also, did we crave the likes of Bell and Wilkshire(and even Tinman maybe)...?

I think the changes Tinman made in the second half were good though, with Gillespie in the hole and a target-man up top just to get hold of the ball....

So,anybody else agree about no ball-players in the first half..?

I disagree, Tommy is much more than just a ball winner. It just so happened that yesterday was one of his worst performances in the last couple of years.

Looking at the line-up it just didn't seem very creative, plenty of runners but no creative spark :D

Plenty of opinion given by others on other posts mate, but just to keep you going....

...Very little creativity, no movement up front, no incisive through balls (possibly due to lack of movement), misplaced passing, no link up play, defenders hoofing the ball and missing out midfield, comical defending :grr:

Got better in the second half thanks to substitutions and formation change. Gillespie and Miller took the game to Bournemouth :grr:
