A BCFC who have got it right….despite the blue shirts!

Well done to Birmingham, a well drilled side who also have guile, strength, creativity and pace. Everything we lack. Been to each game this season and we are so poor, our front 6 aside from Conway are not good enough to push above our usual 14th to 18th and we must have the most static, non creative midfield in the league. Get to the market now and sort this or let’s hope for another Tom Brady to finally take this club forward and create some excitement.

People round me saying they were just as poor as us must have been watching a different game.

Very tactically astute, physically dominant at the back with pace and creativity to burn out wide.

Very good side and one to keep an eye on as outsiders. We were very poor but as a team they were so much better

Three games into the season and you can judge that they have got everything right? You know that the money they are spending has nothing to do with Tom Brady right? They are spending the money from the Bellingham sell on.

Birmingham were physically stronger in midfield (why can’t we ever seem to buy a tall dominant midfielder like Bielik) plus had players willing to run past others and create chances (Dembele and Bacuna). By comparison, our midfield looked physically small, our 2 wide starting forwards (Cornick and Mehmeti) offered nothing, while the comparison between Hogan and Bell upfront really showed up that we started with a relatively weak and inexperienced 20 year old, compared to an experienced striker who has been successful at this level for some time.

I’d love to know how much they have actually invested in transfer fees but the signings of Laird, Buchanan,Bielik, Sanderson, Dembele, Miyoshi, Anderson for around £6.5m looks like fantastic recruitment.  Fair play to them as physically too strong and carried a threat with pace.
