Visagov appear to be a private company trying to sell a one stop shop for visas. They cite no legal authority on that blog, and it appears to be focussed on US law and the US market.

I'm not sure I totally trust their interpretation of the difference between nationality and citizenship.

The brexit means brexit meaning was along the same lines as a brexit tackle.

It’s pretty obvious nige wouldn’t allow players to be gung ho but does want a hard working no nonsense player which is what I meant under the same terms as brexit means brexit / brexit tackles. 
 

Not really hard to understand. 

The Brexit means Brexit thing was weird, though I’m assuming you must be young as I have heard the under 18s in my team say it.

However you then went on to say he only wants hard working players and then suggested that would mean most of his signings will have been white and British.

What does colour and nationality have to do with how hard someone works?
