1960maaan
Part of me would quite like it. My Wife on the other hand, not so much. Then trying to get public transport home late Christmas Eve would be horrendous .

milo1111
The premier league sold out to sky years ago, in fact that basically why it was created. This is what you get.

Redtrojan
Xmas day games finished in England in 1965 and in Scotland in 1971 My dad tells me he always went and they were very popular. Different times I guess.

Sir Geoff
At least there will be something decent to watch on the tele, if Chelsea are still nosediving.

Sky as a company wouldn’t exist without the PL and visa versa so it’s a mutual interest thing. Edited October 20, 2023 by milo1111

The 3.2 with Bignot scoring after a few seconds before Beadle came on and changed the game for us. Brilliant night, probably my favourite City game of past 30 years, just loved it and the fact Xmas came early!

Barrs Court Red
I’d love a Christmas Eve game, but that would probably mean no Boxing Day game.
