Guest Neo
I know this is another Robbo post and I apologise. But, what is going on with him? The last thing I expected when seeing the reserve team line-up for today was his name not on it. The bloke has played 4 minutes football since the West Brom firendly and I naturally presumed he would get a run out today to keep him fit in case of injury etc. Wots think? Stylus
Seriously?? Well that means less money on Players Salaries & additional money too spend on the East End?

Guest Neo
He is going on loan to FGR. ← Good or him if it's true. I don't know if you are having a laugh or not, however, the reason for my post was wondering if he is being sent on loan? Apart from his name being on the first couple of team sheets, there has been nothing about Robbo on the main site at all; not a comment (even when a few days ago Lita was talking about competition for the strikers roles, Robbo's name was noticeable by its absence!!) We haven't heard of any injury, hence, going on loan seems to be the only reasonable answer to why he has effectively been ignored for the first team and now the reserves. The Casual Connoisseur
I lied but for good reason.......even NEO excepted the fact that Christian had gone and there was not much fuss. We have a lot of competition and CR looks to be out of contention, some say his attitude is not the best it would be better for all if maybe he went out on loan played some first team football and tried to stake a claim for a contract elswhere or first 11 place. Frankly I think his time at AG is over and Christian could do very well for a lesser outfit.
Guest Neo
Me thinks you're on a wind up. ← Maybe he is. Although is wishful thinking truly a wind-up? Anyway, any one else got a thought on this. I just find it weird. If he is not going on loan or injured, the only other explanation that makes any sense is a first-team recall against Swindon. The least likeliest reason I would have thought! So my acceptance of him going (although I would be disappointed) is more for his benefit than my teams

Swindon Hater
At the end of the day the bloke could do a good job for a League Two side and maybe some League One sides, sadly he's the worst out of our 5 strikers here and can't get on the bench for the time being. Good luck to the bloke if he does go though, gave us some of the most unforgettable moments in BCFC history, eg. Mansfield, Hartlepool etc.

At the same time I'd be so happy for him if a Championship outfit snapped him up. I don't know what it is about Robbo, but I just find him incredibly loveable! I wasn't always a huge fan of his, but last season (especially towards the end) he impressed me. When he came on as a sub on the right he usually made an impact without always an end product. However when he moved up front no one can doubt that he finished the season well (apart from Baadiff, along with everybody). Now i saw all the pre season friendlies apart from FGR and i thought that Christian was looking sharp and confident. The fact that he hasn't been involved at all can only suggest that Tins isn't a fan and he is on his way out.
RedRaw
MAYBE......tinman is tying up a deal to bring in his much coveted "target man" with Robbo going the other way as the "make weight", talks are in progress hence the reason for his disappearance??? Disclaimer. This is purely conjecture, please do not start an 8 page thread wanting more info as I have not heard anything, know nothing and have not received an email from the chairman telling me to shut my trap nor do I expect any praise should it come true....well! wesco
He is apparently on a unofficial trasfer list (Not sure what this is but think it means the player would be free to go if a club did come in) Swindon Town are looking at him along with Cheltenham Town

Guest claloudav
Personally I can't see why Roberts has not been given a proper chance. He played like 4 or 5 minutes at the Torquay which wasn't long enough. I would like to see more of Roberts, me thinks he should play for the second half against Swindon or be brought on for the last 30 minutes. Obviously it's being a bit unfair if we expect another Hartlepool performance... but you never know!!
Guest Topbuzz
Id like to see him play just so Neo can see how much more quality Lita has but seriously if murray didnt work on the right side of a 3 maybe roberts will
