Albeit when we signed him, a Derby correspondent where he was in loan last year, seemed to think LWB he has played more but actually best suited to LCB..Roberts that is.

"For those unaware of Haydon Roberts, how would you describe him as a player?"

"He’s very versatile. Very aggressive and good on the ball. At Derby, it’s quite difficult to analyse him in a way because he played as a left wing-back which I don’t think is his best position, truth be told, I actually like him as a left-sided centre-half. He played there towards the back end of the season."

Will be interesting how manning uses him when he is back

Not much else going on , so thinking forward to Monday.
I doubt Williams will play 3 in a row, TC looked lively coming on so I am thinking they could be 2 changes.
Bell looked ok too , but I have a feeling Manning will persevere with Mehmeti. I wonder if we might have a new name on the bench as well , would be good.
So as I see it, the line up could be.

Manning, dare I say seems to have everything clicking in place at the moment and it is great to see that all on OTIB seem to now trust in him as he did have a poor start. Whichever the starting 11 Manning puts on the park for kick off would be the correct one in his mind and his coaching team.

He does not have many options, but it will be 3 points in the bag for us up against a Millwall side which seem to be not what they used to be.

Sounds like everyone is pretty adamant that JW won’t start three in a row but wondering if Manning would take a different approach to that if he’s given the all-clear by the physios. He came off after 75 against Brum and he didn’t seem to be gasping for air at the time. So much so that I think he might have been taken off too early as he was creating and putting himself about right up to that point. Something tells me LM might have been “saving” him for Millwall but we’ll see. With that said, for some reason I’m quite sentimental about our Joe and we all know that MJ is a bit of a master in that position so I’m confident in either.

Would like to see TC have another start. I believe he needs more games to work up some telepathy with AM, MS, JK & TGH. Dropping him won’t do his confidence any good either.
