In fairness they've all done us proud, as I said elsewhere in the thread.

Albeit it is frustrating and the back 3 I am unconvinced by..especially without Naismith and Atkinson available for the variety. A fully fit McCrorie would also be a different proposition at wingback.

I'm not fully against it but I have strong reservations atm.

In the grand scheme of things. Yes.
But let’s take tonight in isolation.
With Roberts & McCrorie needing to go off at 60, please tell me who your back 4 would have been?

Ross McCrorie is a bit of a dilemma because he was bought to be a Tanner replacement once he was fit from injury (from what I believe) but Tanner has been playing great under Manning and McCrorie doesn't look natural further up the field

Whatever happens from here the lads have done us proud tonight, particularly the non-regulars.

Yeah Roberts has played amazingly tonight considering he hasn't gotten any minutes since October I believe

Everton 2004 there was one albeit thst doesn't quite got.

Any in LDV Vans or similar?

Yes, we won one at QPR. Cant fully recall but it may have been Rosenior who chipped his shot down the middle for the winner.

And of course much later we won one at this ground.

I wonder if Tanner as a narrower LB could have been the option on 60. Granted 83 was when McCrorie went off.

Not always great, did you se the Boro or Leeds games for example?

It’s a squad game. Don’t think he was ever bought as a replacement.

I am also wondering if for the sake of a shape Tanner inverted and narrower at LB could have been a way to go.

But.. but… he’s a midfielder, no?

That's because recently he's been put into a 3 at the back which McCrorie can't do either, when we do play 4 at the back Tanner is good
