Strong rumours that the Oldland  Abbotonians manager Craig Laird, and assistant Shaun Potter are about to take over at Bridgwater.

Laird lives in Bridgwater, and is an ex manager of the club.

I present to you Gloucesters goalkeeper today.

Enjoy.

Quite a game by the look of it. 4-0 to W&H at half-time, 4-4 FT. Both teams in contention at the top.

Another of the non league teams near me, Welton Rovers are really struggling. They have been going 130 odd years and at the start of the season there were rumours that they were going  to fold, as they were short of players and never had a manager. Since the start of the season they are now on their 2nd manager, the first one jumping ship to Bridgwater. They play in the Western League Premier Division and have played 20 games, lost all 20 and have a goal difference of -90. Sad to see a well established club struggling so badly, hopefully they come through these tough times and start to rebuild.

Very sad times at Welton. Brilliant club and a great set up. Not sure what's happened there, it was only a couple of seasons ago they were paying decent money - maybe that is the issue? I find it hard to believe a half decent manager at this level wouldn't take them on. But they're now in a partnership with the people who were with Keynsham for a few years before Ash and Marvin went to Corsham.

Hard to bring in a squad of young lads to play step 5 football though (as Keynsham found out).

Genuinely hope they survive. Played there for a bit many years ago and know what the club can be like

And linked in with that, some of the money being spent in Weston League (Jewsons league) this season is crazy. There's always been some clubs spending waaaaay too much for this standard but seems even more obscene these last 2 season.

Harborough Town manager Mitch Austin has created the Ultimate Football Manager save in real life. He's won 7 trophies with 'The Bees', reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup and signed one of his former Tottenham heroes.

Truro draw and are top. WsM lose 3-0, but stay 2nd with a game in hand. Bath dropping like a stone with just 4 beneath them.
