milo1111
Sometimes I think players wait until the window shuts intentionally . probably feel they’ll get a better deal as a free agent when players can no longer move between clubs and injuries occur leaving clubs light in certain positions. This. For a player like James, who will be independently wealthy and not, for want of a better term, need a job, he doesn’t need to jump at any or every opportunity. There is also the factor that he may still be recovering from his surgery late last season and doesn’t want to make a move until fully fit. He’s a player that is known as a “good pro”. Clubs won’t have concerns about him missing a pre season as they’ll know he’s professional enough to keep himself in shape, so if he seeks a deal post window closing, I’ve no doubt he’ll get one. Equally, as with Matt Smith, it wouldn’t surprise me if he retired when he clearly still has the potential to play on. 2
Popular Post Leabrook
He’s been offered 1 year in the Chanpionship with Portsmouth but wants 2 years and more northern based. Been offered 2 years in league one with coaching role which he is considering. Been offered a move to Canada but doesn’t want to go there for family reasons. He will sign somewhere by end of the month and is hoping that some championship clubs realise they need someone like him after a few games of the season 11 8

cidercity1987
One of our most underappreciated players ever. Bad decision to bin him off for a light midfield two of Williams and Knight. We look so so open now where we were not last season. Still time to bring him back? 1

The Bard
He'll go to Coventry and do well in a team that will finish above us. Similar to Weimann at Blackburn. I just hope we actually improve overall but have this nagging feeling that without their presence the promising players we've signed will struggle to establish themselves. Watch us look to make a couple of experienced signings in January....
