fgrsimon Posted Monday at 20:14 Share Posted Monday at 20:14 Wouldn't have expected things to pan out this way with Semenyo now first pick and Scott on the bench. From reading Bournemouth Echo (a limited sample size admittedly) the majoeity feeling seems to be that Alex needs to step up a bit, has done ok without excelling so far. I'm sure Lloyd Kelly was linked with a big momey nice in 2022 wheb we really, really needed that Sell-on. Brownhill was declared unsellable by Kompany Summer 2022 in the same period. He'd do well in any of the top leagues actually. It's a shame the world cup he went to wasn't this year or next. The bloke looks excellent every time I see him. I try and watch Muff as much as possible just to see him play and listen to the pundits and the plaudits. I watch on NBC/Peacock. Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard rave about the boy almost every week. For my tuppence I can see him at a very big club. Think he would slot into strong sides here or in Europe. Atletico given they can be quite pacy and counter pressing, switch between 2 and 3 up front- can be technically sound but also pressing...could be a very useful fit. 52 minutes ago, Ecko said: He'll be gone in the summer We shall see.
