Bad timing as he had started well by the sound of it, then again I guess there's not many injuries with good timing.
His debut he got really good praise, after coming on as Sub and helping get Cambridge back from 1-4 to 4-4. He played all of the next 3 getting 3 assists before picking up his knee injury.
Monk said 4-6 weeks , seven weeks ago . Hopefully will be close to playing again soon.

And what would of happened is that sub par performances would have led to 'we should have spent 3.5mill on twine'...

Its a vicious circle

It’s really not (and my thanks to @TDarwall for predicting my obvious response and @Davefevs for facilitating it!)

My position was clear - I wouldn’t have signed Twine on the basis of an uninspiring and at points disgraceful in terms of attitude (Huddersfield) loan spell. That was based on an assessment of quality of the player relative to fee, fit with squad/style of play, injury record and attitude. However, I was consistent that if Liam wanted him we should have done it early and not dicked around (as noted, Burnley did deals with no manager).

I certainly wouldn’t have been calling for him to have been signed had we had sub par performances without him. Ironically, the reverse of that correlation is actually true!

Not from many who witnessed his lame performances last season, including his appearance for Hull at Ashton Gate.

£2 million maybe. Not many would gave been shouting to sign him for £3.5 million.
