Rough estimation of people who’s done 3 away games plus do you think 1000ish or more?

Several long trips in there:

Hull, Derby, Blackburn, Swansea, Boro, Stoke, Preston

Would assume that it will also include those that have bought tickets for Norwich and Watford already too as article states that it’s for supporters who have “purchased” tickets for 3 or more games already?

May lead to a few more buying for Watford/Norwich before 10am on Wednesday as think this will be one of the more popular away games.

100%, Oxford away will be even tougher to get tickets

And not much time to add to your away total before Plymouth tickets go on sale.

Last season’s game was towards the end of the season and circumstances meant there wasn’t the interest there might have been.

I think this season’s New Year’s Day fixture will be very sought after.

Funny story about when we played them away in the cup, 09,10 was it?

There was a pompy lad to our left who got kicked out after reacting too much to our fans chants about him.

Fast forward 2012 and I'm working in Australia in a little town south of Perth and staying in a hostel. Got chatting to a lad and mentioned that game in which he said he got kicked out of it, same lad 🤣

Agreed - reckon it will be 6 or 7 for Plymouth on NYD…..

Correction to above will be doing this tonight then as I’ve just planned Watford away with a mate

I once dated a girl from a village in my home county of Devon; around a year after we broke up I'm in a backpacker's house in Sydney and get chatting to a girl, turns out she's from the same village and grew up with my ex

Even though I’ve not been away to 3 away games why can I not click on link to purchase tickets and then assign to my son and dad who have?

You need to log in as if you were either your son or dad I believe...

does anyone know how many tickets are likely to be still available tomorrow?

Apparently max that could be sold today is 800 (as that's how many meet today's criteria).

Just looked at the two away league meetings in the Championship

2010/11 attendance 13,886 City fans 1,228

2011/12 attendance 16,695  City fans 1,412

So 2,171 is a good turn out,

not sure if the figures from 2010/11/12 were tickets sold in advance or might have been pay on the day as well

Interesting that I managed to get tickets for those games and the FA cup game without a problem - being a member. This season not even close to getting one so I guess our fan base is on the up.

P.S add me to the waiting list if any tickets become available.

Not sure if it’s still the same , been there a few times fair few years ago pretty lively before and after ,

saying that last time I went 6 of us missed the train and stayed down there in a travel lodge for the night , once the evening went on met a fair few of there fans and they knew we were city they were good as gold proper down to earth lads , still friends with 2 of them now

So many factors

short distance

Not been there for 12 years

those who want to tick off another "ground"

starved of football due to covid

reasonable prices 28 pounds and 22 pounds (if you look old)

they are bottom of the league and crap.

you can have a trip round the harbour to see the Royal Navy's finest not to mention the spinnaker tower

Yeah we met up with the Pompey lot quite a few times at away games. Dave Mayes and his mob. Great lads.
One time in Estonia, I was chatting to one of these lads (well, he’s in his 60’s now), and he actually had me in tears when he was telling me of his life story.

It will be on Sky though and a lot have family stuff on that day so may choose to give it a miss. Also, are there any trains on NYD?

A long shot I know, but if anyone has 4 x adult tickets going spare I will gladly take them off your hands.

We have a couple of friends flying in from Ireland for the game and we missed the sale.  Portsmouth is nice on a Saturday afternoon...... right?! 😬🙈

More in hope than expectation … As members we were never likely to get lucky but in case anyone has an adult and a junior ticket spare please DM. We are New Forest based. We go to more away games than home matches, Portsmouth is our nearest away ground this season.

Eddie Crispin was another.

In Estonia you may have been speaking to Jake Payne? I met him in Frankfurt this summer Pompey Casuals in pictures - Lower Block

Some great pictures there.

Brilliant pictures ( divvy with Pompey in the 2nd pic ) what strikes me are the numbers getting on and off the trains , everybody looks like there proper mates , all seem the same age , great clothes ( and hair cuts when we had hair ) everybody seems happy and just out for a good time fresh smiley faces , no moody sultry faces , god they were good times - also people say the atmosphere in the grounds was better then we’ll look at all the pics ,

mates all roughly the same age all male and no kids

Totally agree , they met there match though in the Dolman and in the back streets of southville after  ( formerly known as Bedminster in those days )

One of my fav away games. Late header from Adam Locke in 1999 on Easter Bank Holiday. They battered us for most of the game and hit the bar straight after we scored.
Bit lively outside as well after!

Has anyone received their tickets in the post yet? Usually they are pretty punctual, within a few days of purchase.

Appreciate we are still a little under 2 weeks from the match, but wondered if anyone else had received theirs?
