GrahamC Posted Wednesday at 18:59 Posted Wednesday at 18:59 They are an absolute shitshow of a club. The Turkish Simon Cowell thought Liam Rosenior wasn’t doing well enough (finished 7th) so alongside a load of baffling signings from Turkey last year, got Tim Walter in from Germany (last job failing to get Hamburg promoted). Coventry absolutely saw them coming over selling them Kasey Palmer as well. Shambles of a club. 1 Quote
Mr Popodopolous Posted Wednesday at 19:05 Posted Wednesday at 19:05 (edited) My gut feeling is that Rosenior wouldn't have been on board with the necessity for sales and or restraint in the market following their huge push last year. That is one possible factor. Edited Wednesday at 19:08 by Mr Popodopolous Quote
Dr Balls Posted Wednesday at 20:14 Posted Wednesday at 20:14 Hull have form on doing ok one season in the Championship and then getting relegated the next. Their last relegation was only 4 years ago when they just seemed to fall apart for the second half of the season. Quote

They sold Bowen and Groskicki in Janaury 2020, solid indeed having a possible tilt at the Playoffs but collapsed thereafter. Their Owners- the Allams- and the Fans relationship had collapsed somewhat and they were just looking to slash and run on a shoestring to help pay off their debt and pave the way for a sale. Refusal by the FA to let them change their name to Hull Tigers was a turning point. Edited Wednesday at 20:18 by Mr Popodopolous 2 1 Quote
