Sounds like the floodlights came back on at Pompey but the match was postponed due to the lights in the stands not working. Safety reasons given. Do stand lights have to be on at all grounds throughout the game these days?

2nd Goal for QPR and Celar.

He is finding his form just before we play them.

Given what we see in night games at Ashton Gate, I would say so.

Leeds 3 Luton 0, anyone who finishes above Leeds will be Top 2 IMO.

Blackburn WIN at Middlesbrough! The good news is that we are only 5 points from the playoffs, the bad news is that now a gap to Blackburn- 3 points plus they have a Game in Hand v Portsmouth at Home.

Stats showing that stats mean noting without context

Isn't that his first goals this season ? Even a stopped watch is right twice a day sort of thing .

Stayed with the Brother in Law last weekend and he wasn't very complimentary about their strikers, and my other QPR mate is resigned to relegation.
So yeah , they will beat us wont they.

They've won their last 4 at AG whether we've been above them or they've been above us.

BBC Match Report described Celar strike as a wonder goal but we shall see.

Absolutely, Derby battered Swansea as well with similar stats  but still lost

No one will finish above Leeds, they are far and away the best team in the league

Those are his only 2 goals in 20 appearances.

One game is hardly enough to say he’s finding form, is it?

It is a start, already caught up with Armstrong and Fally stand alone and half as much as those combined.

Could be a blip of course. Time will tell.

Run of games and he’s building confidence scoring goals, QPR wrote him off after a few games!

Sounds like a familiar Mr Mayulu - give him a run of games LM!

Mayulu 232 minutes, Celar 841.

You are comparing apples with oranges there.

Absolutely possible that this gives him the confidence he’s been lacking, or that it is his Liam Robinson v Peterborough game.

Shocking defending but a cool chip over the keeper for his 2nd too.

Brilliant through ball too.

I was so pleased for Robinson that game. He was a totally likeable individual and worked his proverbials off, but was never a player at the level we needed. It was great to see him get those goals as a reward for attitude, but it was never going to be a harbinger of him finally being able to do it!

Thought I'd use this thread as a generic last night theme.

Sheffield United - are they going to get themselves promoted with another series of scrappy results where they are outplayed for large parts of the game but nick something towards the end? If they do the only consolation for me will be that it's not that **** Mcburnie getting the goals.

Might still be smarting about our implosion against them mind.

I totally agree. Each recent game they’ve been second best yet still managing to win. Just as it was 2 seasons ago. Sunderland were much the better team but fell to a sucker punch. Becoming one of the teams I really dislike. I have a feeling they will drop out of the top 2 eventually (at least I hope so).

When you have that bit of quality / x-factor that is often enough.

Hamer, Sousa, Cooper the keeper.

They had N’Diaye last time.

Sousa to me didn’t look as dominant against Sunderland. Got a feeling the partnership with Arblaster helped showcase his skill set. Feel bad for Arblaster - ACL?

He was quiet last night, but he’s been pretty good in other games I’ve seen, inc against us.

Sunderland were very good last night. I liked the way they stretched the game in 10v10.
