I actually like him too. Thought he was a great appointment for them. Thankfully, it hasn't proved quite as great so far.

It doesn't matter whether people like MT, or not - whether he is a better human than JB, or who he is manager of - these situations are dreadful & whilst we don't know what the circumstances are, it must be serious & very difficult times for him & his family.

I will slightly disagree here 

 

I think it does matter whether the manager is a better person than JB, however even if it was Joey Barton I would be wishing him well against whatever awful experience.

 

Someone being a complete **** shouldn't be discounted, nor should it be held against them in genuinely awfu circumstances
