I wonder if Wolfie is still about.

He was a unit mind!

I remember on that famous day, before the 3 piggies became involved, for some reason he was in goal in front of the Eastend....(giving and taking stick) and a lad had jumped over and was taking penalties against him...completely ad-hoc and not organised.  Wolfie had saved a couple but when the lad managed to score one he walked up to Wolfie celebrating and giving it the big 'un with the Eastend cheering him on. When he got within distance Wofie grabbed him and did a perfect judo throw, in a flash the lad was flat on his back.  He got up and gingerly retreated over the railings while it was then Wolfies turn to give it some to the Eastend.

I remember thinking then that Wolfie wasn't your normal mascot and could probably handle himself quite well! He then sauntered off towards the centre circle, the 3 piggies got involved with him, and I'm pretty sure Wolfie more than held his own against them as well.

All very bizarre but great to watch.

Im pretty sure that for the next few home games coldseal turned up with 3 little pigs colouring in papers for kids,, like they were actually proud of the embarrassment that they created,,, wolves obviously gave us a hanmering too, we were a national embarrassment, not much has changed.

Yes of course, thanks.  👍

I remember now, he was acting up to the Wolves fans egging him on in the Eastend.

I think the penalty taker was probably a Wolves fan as well... didn't matter who he was...Wolfie wasn't having any nonsense that day.
