I note that McIndoe was named Manager of the Month with Edinburgh City in Scottish League 2.i had realised he was now in football management and that he was at Edinburgh City.

Just came to promote his book iirc? Was funny and his account is still active although he's not visited since.

I went to see them last year and couldn't believe he was the manager. Their ground was very odd, sticking out the back of a leisure centre with a running track around it. Strangely enough Edinburgh's goalkeeper scored a last minute winner from a corner to earn a point that day. They were relegated last season

Don’t they play at the Meadowbank Sports Stadium?  Saw Meadowbank Thistle (now Livingston) play there many years ago.

Yes but I believe it was re-opened in 2022 after a lengthy renovation, probably quite far from what you remember in personality

Do they only get 1 point for a win up in Scotland.?

Point for a win, 0 for a draw and -1 for a loss?

Now, if this was the way it worked, all teams could finish the season joint top and joint bottom.

We'd still manage midtable 😂

I love visiting quirky little grounds :)

He's done well because Edinburgh City were a mess last season. Big points deduction, loads of thrashings and bad finances. Thought they'd go straight through L2 and back to non-league this season but they're up towards the top.
