A Horse With No Name
As much as he says he does, he will admit to being completely and utterly out of his depth and cancel his 3 year managerial contract. Forcing the board to sack him, which will presumably mean him leaving the club altogether, will cost this club a fortune, and maybe put a financial restraint on the calibre of his successor. By standing down, Brian can remain an invaluable member of the squad, while handing over the top job to somebody better suited to it. Please Brian, before is too late to save our season. A Horse With No Name
In other words "Dont panic Mr Mainwaring". Pray tell me exactly when we can panic then? October? December? March?
The Man In Black
I would honestly say right now - give him until Monday. Let him find his 10 fellow people who are willing to stand in the middle of Ashton Gate and fight for the club. If he can, then it's all burners set to full as far as the season goes, and he's doing his job as a manager. If he can't, then it's time for a more experienced sidekick, or a more experienced manager. At least give him that chance guys...
elko
I'm willing to give him a fair amount of time. Give a few games for basic errors, then a few games of adjustment. I think in think next three games we will pick up at least two draws, probably our first victory.
