Guest WestburyRed Posted December 27, 2003 Posted December 27, 2003 Bit of an odd question but what sort of drinks containers are you allowed to take into the ground? I have a kidney stone at the moment (apparently, they aren't quite sure) and either way I have to drink a hell of a lot of fluids at the moment. I've missed the last two games but I'm fed up now so I'm going regardless of how much agony its going to put me in. Problem is as I'm nearly 40 miles away my usual trip to a home game lasts a good 5 or 6 hours, so I will need to take a fair bit of drink with me. Are bottles or cartons ok?
Guest O_Faz Posted December 27, 2003 Posted December 27, 2003 Cartons are O.K, but I think bottles are seen as offensive weapons, or could be used as weapons. They won't stop you from taking bottles in to be honest seeing as it's a medical reason, not a malicious one.

Guest two acres red Posted December 27, 2003 Posted December 27, 2003 your best bet is to ask steve/colin but because its for a medical reason i dont think it would be such a problem to take either.
Taz Posted December 27, 2003 Posted December 27, 2003 I have saw many people around the Atyeo on a match day with a plastic bottle. Presumably these are purchased from the stadium (at a considerably higher cost than normal may I add). Either that or they all sneak them in.
cityboy Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 We generally take plastic fruit juice bottles in with us, and despite having had the stewards see them as we walk in, we have never had them taken off of us........
Guest SteveinNC Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 Oh Westbury Red...........I can sympathize with you. I had a kidney stone a few months ago, and had to go into the hospital to have it out! Some of the worst pain I have ever experienced!....Almost as bad as when City lose :sad56:
