Guest dan_williams Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Tinman has officially said if marcus stewart joins then more than likely heffernan will leave.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/4568529.stm
Robbored Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Its very tough on Heffernan who if he leaves City will virtually have wasted a season of his career. He'd walk into almost any other Division 1 side. From his perspective,he's been unlucky that Lita's turned out to be such a force and managed to avoid lenghthy injury as well. The same could be said about Brooker.Heffernan will undoubtedly do the buisness for someone else and I wish him well wherever he goes(except when he plays against City!)
Guest sprout1883 Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 What sort of retuen would you expect on him?
Robbored Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 I excect that City would want thier money back on him.£150k.
The Batman Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Shame but inevitable.← i agree, i am a big fan of heffernan, 20+ goals for relegated side with poor service last season, and even worse service from this club because he's been on the bench all year...but you cannot break up a partnership that has given us so many goals.without sounding too repetative of other posts, but will the blackpool deal with Wellens now take a further step now tinman has made it official about a heffernan departure???good luck paul, he did his bit in the games that he played in..
tinman-is-god Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 I know he has had limited oppurtunities, but i will not be bothered if he does go. Our other options are far better to him in my view, and if we could get what we paid for him, it would be excellent business
