TomBCFCUK
Which suggests they've made enquires and are intrested.←True. But it stated there was a bid of 1 million! Where as Lansdown report says that he has only had a phone call!
Guest john rattlebone
If there's an offer off a million and Stewart is going to sign then take the money! (and a sell on clause)
BCAGFC
As long as a significant part of the £1m is up front (at least £750k+) then I think he will be gone. Have Reading got that kind of money up front?. I don't think they have anymore and they will try to make it performance related.I also agree, Litas' agent definately doesn't want Leroy playing for us next season.BCAGFC
Rednready
BCFC needs Lita to go. Anything over 750k would be enough and the cash will strengthen other positions. If Lita and Miller go we have Brooker/Stewart/Heffs/Gilly and Cotterill all available at this time. Lita indeed scored 29 goals and missed plenty, did not create the assists that he could have and IMO will not be missed that much. True, he scored goals others would not have scored, but missed assists and chances that others would have taken. Take the money and use it for team building. bucksred
When we got relegated last time and Ade Panicbuyme scored 23? goals that season, said he'd stay and get us promoted again- anyone else remember? Was it one or two weeks before the season started he was off- and it was widely blamed on his agent then, as I recall.could be the same thing here? Evocare
Which suggests they've made enquires and are intrested.Expect him to be gone by July IMO←Care to speculate where? IMHO he will sign a new deal which will ensure his future at the club and if a club wants to buy him then they'll have to pay the release fee, whatever that would be set at.We should not listen to ANY offers for him, unless they match his value of 3m SO why should we be prepaired to offload him for a pathetic 1m? complete nonsence! I know we could use the money, but we are not desperate. no matter what anyone says. The Club badly needs to send out a clear message that he's simply not for sale, so clubs like Reading, Villa or whoever don't try to get him on the bloody cheap. When we get promoted next season and Lita is top scorer i expect there will be one or two clubs again sniffing about, only this time his value will be 6mInterested Clubs better get used to the fact that his not available,so unless an offer over 3m is tabled get lost Reading and everyone else!! It will be a major setback if Leroy goes. Heaven knows where we would have ended up this season without his goals. He really does have potential (unlike Millar), to become a top striker. But until that time comes, we need him here next season to lead our (hopefully) strengthened team for a real push for promotion.

If he doesn't fire on all cylinders next time around his value will fall. Perhaps the club have worked out that we need to cash in on his value now ( especially if Stewart is coming) and perhaps we have floated the story in order to stimulate interest from clubs who are interested in Lita now. For a moment there i thought you were talking about a top international player in the prem. Not 29 goal man leroy lita of the 3rd division. He is only worth what others clubs are prepared to pay. The big sides will not be comin g in for leroy, as he has not reached that step up yet. It will be the likes of Reading, QPR, Preston, Southampton, Norwich, Ipswich, etc, or prehaps lower down prem teams such as WBA, Blackburn, Wigan. I cant for the life of me ever remember a player from our division being sold for 3 mil. The highest that i can remember is Andy cole to newcastle from our club. Its a shame that real life football is not like Football Manager. No club will be willing to risk the sort of money you have informed us that he is worth for a player who is 20 years old, and has had one good season in the old 3rd division.
