East End

Judgeing from the poor East End tickets sales there won't be many City fans in there on Saturday despite all the publicity and hand outs.

I guess that the reality is that apart from a few die-hards not many City fans are prepared to put with a poor view in what is,lets face it, a ####py stand.Its a far better view from the Atyeo which also has better facilities.Who can blame those fans who'd rather keep to where they usually go.I think the club have been saying this all along.

I applaud the efforts of those who want to try and improve the atmosphere at AG but maybe the East End is not the answer.The best answer would be to but a false roof in the Atyeo - supended by wires that would push the sound out onto the pitch rather than allowing it to escape upwards as it does currently.

Personally, I'm not bothered either way but maybe if someone would like to ask Steve Landsdown on his site whether that remedy might be an option I wouldn't mind at all.....

I said on an early post that the people who want to reclaim the Eastend should get together ready for next season and reclaim the Ateyo.

Last say there is 400 fans in the Eastend on saturday, if they all got season tickets for right behind the goal of the Ateyo Stand they then would be able to create an atmosphere.

Eastend -Time to move on!
