tompo
Was it disallowed for offside or for Peacock pushing? It was a shame it was ruled out. It was a typical centre forwards goal. Very brave to head it with feet flying everywhere.
bobby
Thought it was an excellent goal myself and showed great skill, courage, ability. Apprarently ruled off for off side, but TV coverage didn't help to clarify but match reports all say flag went up early for off side! Shame, would have been a good one
elhombrecito
The flag was up for offside before he even got his header in.
RedUn
The flag was up for offside before he even got his header in. Not against Windy though who timed his attack perfectly. Only Leapy looked as though he might have been "in an offside position" when the flag was raised but as he was moving away from goal and not crossing the keeper's sight-line to Matty's fine cross he should have been deemed "inactive" surely ... anyone from Dolman Block H have a view on this as HTV's pictures weren't that helpful? elhombrecito
Not against Windy though who timed his attack perfectly. Now that I can't help on - my postion at the back of the East End isn't exactly helpful in that respect!
Guest Mr Snufflelufagus
Sitting in Dolman H block the flag was up very early and I did think Miller was offside. What made me laugh and cringe at the same time was some geezer in the Eastend jumped on the fencing (only to get pulled down) to gloat at the away fans trouble is it took him about 2mins to realise it wasn't a goal. Its this kind of idiot that could possible see an end to people going in the east-end
tompo
I did not see the flag go up but people I have spoken to think that as the flag was up early, it was likely top be for a foul prior to Miller scoring as Miller could not have been offside. It appears that the culprit may have been Peacock - either offside or pushing.
Bristol Boy
Offside. Looking at it on City World-Goodfellows looked more offside and Lita's looked a bit iffy, but unless you're dead in line, it's difficult.
ciderhead_sumpter
was a good goal from mr miller, i was actually quite impressed by him during the game, he's a great header of the ball. i lost count of the number of times he beat defenders to the ball in the air, and quite often the keeper. well played lee
bobby
Yeh, he seems to have a real ability to jump and "hang" in the air waiting to make contact with the ball - almost seems to happen in slow motion!
