Was the GWR built after the Atyeo as on this website http://rernes.free.fr/images/angleterre/br...stol%20city.jpg (I got it off Knapster) I can't see the red seats of the GWR. Is it just the seats were actually made out of wood and were just replaced, or was the stand put in after. I always believed the Atyeo was the most recent stand. However I knew the upper Dolman was built before the GWR and before where the GWR was built there was just a flat piece of land in front of a brick wall.

the ateyo stand was built first then the dolman just after

the ateyo was finished for the 1994/95 season and the dolman

a bit later in 1995

the work started on the ateyo stand after the

final game of the season

which city won 4-1 at home to Peterborough United

season 1993/94

work was still in progress on citys open day 1994/95

the new season began with a 0-0 draw with sunderland

1994 the ateyo was not ready to use but almost finnished.

the bottom part of the dolman was added in 1995

The wall in front of the Dolman was an eyesore, especially when City were on the telly.

The schoolboys enclosure was rarely used after the First Division days and the area was only regularly populated by 3 or 4 police horses.

The GWR Stand was long overdue and is the best change to occur to the ground in my time as a supporter.

Hard to imagine a better view at a football match.

The GWR was deffinately added after because I remember when I went to my first ever city match the Ateyo was already there, but the gwr enclosure wasn't there until later on.

GWR must have been built around 94/95 ish? I can remember one of my first games bak in 92/93 walking down the old steps at the front of the dolman then standing up on the concrete ledge which was pitch level, waiting for the final whistle.

I remembe rthat. Also the kiosk was built into teh steps?

I also remember the gas derby game where people were locked out and the terracing at the front of the dolman was packed.

Got to admit id never sit in the gwr. Rubbish view and no roof!
