Br 1st ol
Maybe our current players should try the odd dive.... when was the last pen we were awared?? This must be our lowest penalty count in a season ever? Can anyone confirm? Just listening to a debate about taking a dive... Pirez has not even started to learn the tricks yet... There is only one master: Stevie Neville. Anyone got any stories of his dives? Anyone like to put forward another candidate for the city award of Best Diver? (Trevor Morgan wins the Diving competition under the 'John Smiths Human Bomb' category....) Come on lads, we need more pens.....
Taz
Peacock tried it a few weeks ago, and got booked. He wasn't exxactly discrete about the dive though
Guest Neo
Amankwaah would be the worse in our team. He is like Bambi on Ice all the time so convincing a ref there was contact ain't going to be easy. Peacock and Tommy always go down in instalments so are pretty #### in this respect. Miller surely only wears trainers anyway so he isn't an option. Luke or Tins maybe options, however, by the time either arrives in the opposition box at pace, it'll be a goal-kick at our end. That leaves me with Aaron or Goodfellow (ignoring Roberts and Lita as they'll be on the bench anyway ). Of these I think Goodfellow should be officially named the team diver as he is too fresh faced to cheat and more liable to be hitting the box with the ball still under some level of control. - Added in case lack of smilies is interpreted as actually being serious B)
bucksred
Heskey is the king of the dive. Fair dues to Leapy, I dont rate him at all, but he dont dive. No idea who our diver is, never seen one do it yet..........Aaron hes too slow for owt else???
Guest Neo
2 Sky games last night came up with 2 more candidates; Campo of Bolton and Raul of Real Madrid. In fairness to Campo though, it was that vile gimp-boy McCann giving out his usual brand of Premiership crass. Had to laugh when Okocha was stood in front of him just laughing. As for Raul, what was that about; somebody takes it off his toe and he jumps in the air about 4 feet. The ref actually bought it and gave a penalty! bcfc seattle
The king has to be Figo.
bobby
Thought Kewell had a good attempt the other week, few more lessons and practices like that and he could get in the top ten
Guest BridgyRed
I think we might start getting a few penalties with goodfellow running at defenders
