800k with Sell on Clause and Apperance Bonus. I Dont think they will approach Phillips but who knows? At the moment, there Inquiring for every Keeper in England it seems, and if we got a bid of 800k+ i feel we should take it and play Brown in goal who has been very impressive in the Reserves

Until we have a more than adequate replacement for him I wouldn't sell him for anything. To have Stowell in goal for the rest of the season could lead to the collapse of our promotion campaign (no disrespect to Stowell.)

With the amount of cover we have available to us I can't really see our board accepting a bid in the near future, which would probably be too late for Alan Pardew's liking. Chances.... pretty much null.

I wouldn't like to think the club would accept any bid less than 1 million seeing hes only recently signed a new deal, the simple fact is, we have no adequate cover.

Steve's proved himself at this level and could do a decent job in division 1, so i hope that this is just another rumour.

I'm amazed that West Ham are interested in Phillips.

He has far too many flaws to make it much higher up the league. The 2nd Division is about his level.

I would say in his defence that he is just approaching the age of maturity for a goalkeeper. 26-29 seems to be the age when experience and skill levels are in balance generally.

There have certainly been signs in the last couple of games that the confidence in the team is starting to wear off on him, he's calling for the ball, coming for crosses and getting them and interacting with the fans.

100% agreed, and while those skills are being developed I'm glad we've got him.

If everything else about his skills as a keeper were on par with his shot -stopping he would have been gone by now, :D and not to West Ham!

Regards
