Guest Bootylicious
http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=8...toid=2131833092 Good description of SP there How much would you sell him for?
Lita For Congo
800k with Sell on Clause and Apperance Bonus. I Dont think they will approach Phillips but who knows? At the moment, there Inquiring for every Keeper in England it seems, and if we got a bid of 800k+ i feel we should take it and play Brown in goal who has been very impressive in the Reserves
Guest Friday The 13th
Until we have a more than adequate replacement for him I wouldn't sell him for anything. To have Stowell in goal for the rest of the season could lead to the collapse of our promotion campaign (no disrespect to Stowell.) With the amount of cover we have available to us I can't really see our board accepting a bid in the near future, which would probably be too late for Alan Pardew's liking. Chances.... pretty much null.
Lita For Congo
Scott Brown, serious, he is a quality keeper. Deffo worth the risk, if he flops we could just buy a keeper for half the money we got from Phillips!
Guest BCFC Matt
I wouldn't like to think the club would accept any bid less than 1 million seeing hes only recently signed a new deal, the simple fact is, we have no adequate cover. Steve's proved himself at this level and could do a decent job in division 1, so i hope that this is just another rumour.

bcfc seattle
Maybe we could grab Weale from Yeovil, he seems to be pretty class "Exp. vs. Preimership in the FA Cup" When was this?
Robbored
I'm amazed that West Ham are interested in Phillips. He has far too many flaws to make it much higher up the league. The 2nd Division is about his level.
Guest cider gliders
Not that we can see it happening, city would be ruddy crazy to get rid of ole steve! Port Said Red
I'm amazed that West Ham are interested in Phillips. He has far too many flaws to make it much higher up the league. The 2nd Division is about his level. I would say in his defence that he is just approaching the age of maturity for a goalkeeper. 26-29 seems to be the age when experience and skill levels are in balance generally. There have certainly been signs in the last couple of games that the confidence in the team is starting to wear off on him, he's calling for the ball, coming for crosses and getting them and interacting with the fans. If everything else about his skills as a keeper were on par with his shot -stopping he would have been gone by now, and not to West Ham! bcfc seattle
agree on the bad timing but if they pay way more than market value, you almost have to do it don't you.
