Guest WestburyRed Posted January 27, 2004 Share Posted January 27, 2004 Absolutely bloody fantastic. First time in there but it was better than I could of ever imagined. Not sure what the fuss is about the view, not exactly Dolman or Williams standard but not exactly light years behind the Atyeo, the supports hardly got in the way of anything. My throat is buggered but it was so worth it, not sure how the "Red Army" marathon sounded throughout the ground but it was superb in the East End. I have to confess, I stood up all night tonight. Not exactly my fault though, I was reasonably close to the front but a bunch of kids (who, I might add, hardly watched any of the match) stood for the entire game, even though no one was blocking any of their view. It was literally just 15 kids, had they sat down, we would of sat down and the row behind would of and so on, it really would of been that simple. The kids are really my only negative point to it all. They were the ones causing most people to stand (not one steward had a word with any of them all night), they also rushed the fence when we scored, causing loads of stewards to come over and sort it out. What got to me is that they were not even interested in the match, they did hurl a few volleys of abuse at the away support, which I found ironic considering these kids didn't even have the nerve to sit with the majority of the home support in there!
