Guest red in the usa
So, 52 points with 18 games to go. Second place in 2002-2003 season - 86 points Second place in 2001-2002 season - 84 points So, assuming 86 points guarantees second place... we need something like 10 wins & 4 draws...allowing for 4 losses. Looking at the opposition I can see us getting there...now I'm getting worried, what with our amazing January...maybe this is the year. For wins I've guessed: Brentford, Wrexham, Wycombe, R&D, Tranmere, Swindle, Brighton, Blackpool...that's 8...leaving 10 other games (10 draws would do it - I don't really care how !) With Wilkshire back and the spark added by Goodfellow, reckon I've been a little conservative. If its Div One next year, I'm coming back home !! Guest redrobin108
I think we will need nearer to 90 points to gain auto promotion. The top three are by some way infront of the rest. It will go to the last games of the season with any of the top 3, still in the hunt for the championship April fixtures are Plymouth: Barnsley (A) Wycombe (H) BRISTOL CITY (A) Oldham (A) QPR (H) Hartlepool (A) Colchester (H) QPR: BRISTOL CITY (A) Grimsby (H) Barnsley (A) Stockport (H) PLYMOUTH (A) Swindon (H) Sheff Weds (A) BRISTOL CITY: QPR (H) Swindon Town (A) PLYMOUTH (H) Luton Town (A) Brighton (H) Barnsley (A) Blackpool (H) Barnsley will have a major say in the shake up. It's worth considering that last season's second place team, Crewe, had more points at this stage than eith ourselves or QPR and Wigan had more points than Plymouth.
