Reading a suggestion that you lot could take JC on loan and the subsequent stuff posted afterwards made e want to say a couple of things:

Jamie scored goals for fun in your division.

He was accused of being lazy by some, but scored goals for fun.

He was wrongly accused of all sorts of nonsense and was branded accordingly by 'fans', but score goals for fun.

He is a damned fine young fella and err...scored goals for fun.

If you lot don't want him, can we borrow some cash please? He'll score goals for fun.

I don't dispute he had a great scoring record up until he decided to go to Buscan Icons when he left Reading.

Since then he's scored 6 goals in 53 league games. My worry would be he's lost the knack and his best days are behind him.

Now, that'a a bit below the belt.

A quite shocking, swingeing and hurtfully sarcastic condescending swipe, especially coming so soon after your fervent 'telling off' of City Rocker in the Planning Application thread.

It could be seen as just the sort of potentially offensive 'mild' dig at our neighbours that builds up resentment and ultimately prevents rival fans from mingling happily at local derbies.

:disapointed2se:

What about Pepsi & Shirly, didnt they knock about with Wham!, or was that Salt & Pepper?

It was Pepsi and Shirley who knocked around with Wham. As did DC Lee if I recall who went on to be Mrs Paul Weller...before that all went pear shaped.

I would say that those were the days but despite their looks, Mel and Kim and Pepsi and Shirley were all musically challenged. As are Tatu...and the Cheeky Girls.

Therefore, I lay down the musical gauntlet...name me one decent girl duo..and KEEP IT CLEAN MR BREWSTER!

TV Smith from the band TV Smiths Explorers...... wrote a song 'Have Fun'

but never hit dizzy heights that Mel & Kim did...... well apart from when he 'TV Smith' was in the 'Adverts' and they were from Bristol (????)

To this day I believe that Dr.Faustus inspired the hit 'Gary Gillmore's Eyes' , before Dr.F got struck off that is.

So Dr. 'Have Fun' but follow City!

When he scored 'for fun' at Reading and then walked towards you heaving steaming flea bitten lot grinning and putting his hands to his ear..was that 'for fun' as much as we thought it was 'for fun'?

Or different fun?

To be honest Rog, I don't blame him given the abuse some of our meatheads gave him.

They're not flea bites anyway, just heat bumps. :)

What about the Dixie Chicks! they are excellent, if you like country and western. Do you like country and western?

Are there two Dixie Chicks? And anyway, no I don't like country and western...In fact I know a joke about that!

Does the collaboration between Elaine Paige and Barbera Dickson for 'I know him so well' count?

DEFINATELY NOT!

Shakespears Sister were good.

They were ok. In the absence of anyone better, they go to number 1. Any advance on Shakespeare's Sister? Do I hear the female equivalent of Simon and Garfunkle?

I've always thought Geri Haliwell was a bit schizophrenic. Does this mean she qualifies as a duo? If not, I nominate the Opera Babes. I once saw them play Covent Garden (well busk is a more accurate word) and they were the best thing there.
