FWIW many of my relatives live in peterboro' and have been posh fans for donkeys years. With the mighty Quinn joining us I rang a few of them to sound out why the guy was coming here, and what he is like ! I was very curious especially after recalling him having some rather useful games for N.I. The feedback I got was he is being got rid of by barry Fry, who is always a wheeler dealer, as he is on good money, and he do's not score goals, although his general play for others is really good. (holding the ball up etc.) The Posh are signing a bloke called Thorpe (Not T.T from Swindle) and they have the battering ram in the shape of Trevor Benjamin ( ex Leicester City) Quinn could go.The posh regulars I spoke to all said he is a good player, just his lack of goals.This bloke will do a job for us. Brooker is not a out and out target man, we want someone who can play with back to goal, and is mobile. the mighty Quinn.
