Evy11_BCFC
These two players get the most stick on this forum and they really don't deserve it. Murray gives everything week in week out and Woody is the same to. Ok so they are not the most talented players in this division but thay would still walk into most teams in this division.Woodman has talent, he is good defensively and i would pick him ahead of Golbourne anyday, it's just the fact that he is not the most well known player that people stick the blame onto him and give himc*@p everytime we lose.As for Murray, eventhough he lacks the talent and pace he had a couple of years ago, he's still capable of causing many teams problems, as he did today and he fully deserved his goal. robins72
Murray seems to have kick started his season over the past few weeks and has improved. Yes hes been a bit wasteful infront of goal but all in all he is improving. Woody however worries me. He has great pace moving forward but his defensive work worries me. I heard about 3 occassions in the first half that he jsut made a clearance due to his previous error.THe guy can be a liability and he appears to look uncomfortable at times. I'm sorry but I've just got back from the game and Woodman was one of the reasons we lost. He was very poor again today and takes a lot of criticism because he plays like this most games. He neeedlessly fouled their player for the free kick that they scored the 3rd goal from. He isn't bad going forward but is useless at defending. Woodman would not walk into any side and even Torquay fans didn't rate him last season. It certainly wasn't all his fault as Carey was poor too along with others, and we always look like conceeding from set pieces. Also Skuse didn't proctect the back four too well either. As for Murray, the reason he gets stick is because he is nowhere near like the player he was. He was OK today but him and Carey are very frustrating down the right together. Guest dolman_bcfc
Although i don't totally agree with your points about Woodman i agree. It doesn't do the players any good and it is getting kind of boring now!
PhatWill
As I've said before with Woodman, he'll be playing non-league football for the majority of his career. He's on borrowed time at City in my view. Why oh why Tinnion didn't manage to get rid of him I'll never know. Not many people were complaining when Murray re-signed for City. Since his arrival he hasn't really got close to his form of 2002/03. That said I see him as considerably more of a threat then Cotteril down the right wing. Oh and he has scored 4 goals this season in not that many outings, including two THIS week.
Guest The_Boy
I know Murrays form during THAT season was amazing but I cant really remember him being that great in seasons beforehand. He was a good player and I very much doubt that his improvement since GJ arrived is a co-incident! Give him till the end of the season at least unless someone plays better than him! Simple as that really.

Well I saw Murray last week against Barnet and he caused no problems .What other team has a winger who cannot beat his opponent on the outside and put in a good cross. He is past it.As for Woodman he appears to have no backbone. He reminds me of a left back version of Hewlett. He has dropped clangers all season and surely must go when we can get anyone with any sort of grit and determination. leadman
murrey played well today and aswell as his goal, he brought 2 good saves from there goalie.woody has been poor but we are still yet to see him play with a proper left sided midfielder who get up and down, so in a way i do feel sorry for him a bit, this is the possistion we need to fill, then we can judge him properly. Dolman Block B
don't want to sound rude but WOODMAN is crap, and was awful at Oldham. Scott G is far more talented.Murray, Carey, Fourtune, all very poor to I'm afraid,
