kachina
Yesterday was proof of what everybody needed to see at Ashton Gate there is no motivation left in the club.As i arrived at 2.30 the ground was still nearly half empty, something i have never noticed before I can remember getting there at 1.30 and it being nearly full briming with voices now its more of a silence camp.AS i got to my seat i was near enough on my own until the final dribs wandered in 5 mins before the game. The one thing that shocked me was i counted 21 seats in my area that were empty and this is in the atteyo what was worse 18 had reserved stamped on them. When season ticket holders wont come any more i really think it is starting to tell you something.Whats worse for years i have sung my head off at the club and got right ebhind city and whats your approachclose the best atmosphere stand, issue warnings to block g in the dolman and now make new threats to the atteyo stand about language, this may offend you but what a total load of ********. If you want no atmosphere then just close the doors, the fans will get behind the team but in their own way leave the fans to do their bit, the club is your department and believe me they aint doing their bit.If you wanmt atmosphere come down the swindon and watch the away terrece of city fans in one consortium we out sing their whole crowd. Gary Johnson has been given a very hard job to do and your not helping him, he has to get these players playing, you said yourself judge me on tinnion. Well my judgement at the moment is you have no passion for the club, you don't want bigger gates you don't want the fans getting behind the team and your letting your players get away with taking the (Am I naughty or what!), there was an effort level of about 3% on saturtday and I'm being very kind.Last year against Everton we stuck our necks out and drew 2-2 after being 2 nil down, and people say the players wouldnt play for tinnion. Its not the managers there is a problem with its the club. How much can one club change in 1 year, everybody is running rings round us and laughing If i was chairman i certainly wouldnt be laughing i would be fuming. We want city to go places and the fans lift this teamMost of the players we had always commented on how the crowd was vital to this club, Leroy said it himself sop did peacock, goater andy coleBrooker and Stewart are natural fighters but this club needs a playmaker someone with depth and experience someone who will get the crowd excited someone who only needs one chance someone that is respected by the players and when they say give it your all they give it there all, I bet at present if you got 11 fans off the high street next friday in city shirts they would play better on saturday even with ahngovers than the perfectic 11 that played on saturday, it was absolutley diabolicalThings need to start changing because if the atmosphere dies at ashton gate the gates fall rapidly and then the players have nothing to play for. This club needs motivation and it has to come from the top, so please stop sending out your letters and get behind the club yourself, its alright training all the time, but there is no morale and there is no teamwork, how about instead of concentraing on skills they already have do team building exercises with the clubI bet if your organsised a game against the fans and the club for the end of this season the fans would cheer on the fans not the players and guess what the fans would win not through skill but through heart and determination, something that is servely lacking in the club.I always say what i would give to pull on that shirt for 90 minutes and run out and give it my best for the club and the fans. I would love to pull on that number 5 and be the rock at the heart of defence.Just ask your players what that shirt means to them, because at the moment it looks like it means absolutley nothing to them.Give us back the east end, and leave the rest of the fans alone, then you will hear the sounds of fans years ago when we were successfull then you will see 17-20 thousand at the gate and a club that is once again playing for its city.We don't want to go down and we wont let it happenJust ask that question to the players do you wnat to go down, i think most of them think it doesnt really matter.IT wont be johnsons head they will be calling for soon it will be yours mr lansdown show the club you want this club the fortress we once were, only you have that power. Pre seasons is a must and fans should agree get some tops teams at the gate! but NO they have already said cant fit it in because of bands they want in. I would say bog off and set up with Mr Eavis on the mendips. I want football in a football stadium

Guest North Street
It has always been half empty at 2.30,and only a slight exageration of the 1.30 bit then? The general theme is Ashton Gate is souless, even season ticket holders are staying away and the club are discouraging support. Those "are" sad truths
Super Bob
I can understand and mostly agree about the atmosphere, when my mates and I started watching the City back in the early eighties we stood in the east end, in the middle behind the goal and sung our hearts out. The atmosphere was great, we could stand with the others that wanted to sing and chant. What a diffence 2 decades make, now you GOT TO sit in the 1 seat and there's no big gathering of singers/chanters. I know for a FACT it ain't as much fun for a teenager now as it was in MY day. I do really believe SL and CS have no idea what WE want, all they want is the power that being chairman and CE comes with i.e what we say goes END OF, and if you PLEBS don't like it TOUGH!. I'll probably get a bit of stick for my next comment but I would love a chairman like Delia Smith, she loves her club, fans and everything about Norwich. She also seems to gel with the fans and most weeks can be found in with them watching and singing. The chances of seeing SL doing that are IMO a million to 1 shot. I won't eventhink about posting this on the ask Steve L, as I know all I'll get is " Your comments have been noted".If anyone with any clout at BCFC reads this please bring the club back to the fans, listen to what the majority want and I'm sure you will see the benefit in a very short time.
