You best go and ask the prawn sandwich eaters that are st holders in the williams and Ayteo oh and the Dolman.

Another priceless comment

Anyway...

I have no problem with you guys and sometimes post on the subbers site. I am a season ticket holder in the Dolman (hate prawns by the way) and can here you lot from Block B. IF you're staying within the law then fair play to you.

I think Willsbridges' request for a meeting should be followed through and get this increasingly annoying subject closed.

Good luck & keep the faith

"My ole man" is bound to be one offending song as it contains THAT word that women hate and parents don't want to hear their 10 year olds repeating.

Silly c**ts :D

I think the Yorkshire Ripper song probably upsets the P.C. brigade.

Smell my fingers is jsut firking funny and there is no way that is stopping!

Apart from that, I can't see where the problems are.

Surely the word "****" is totally acceptable; it's what the English are most famous for and is as multi-cultural as Father Christmas.

Oh yeah! :grr:

Nothing to do with me, I posted my thoughts after the opening day and shall say no more, I don't even sit in Dolman

EDIT: ALSO maybe the FCC member that had such a problem would like to come and share their point of view to the class, as surely if a valid complaint is worthy of an FCC meeting it isn't something to be ashamed of, come on, lets hear it eh

Certain delinquents in G block Dolman singing "God Save the Queen" was bang out of order. Especially as many of us have been victimised by the Queen's own royalist Gestapo Police over the years. At least it got drowned out by "Cider Redz Until we die we'll keep the red flag flying high" as sung by true English patriots in the rest of the Dolman stand.

I'm amazed that this subject is even being discussed, and even more amazed that the club are taking it so seriously and sending out letters.

Ashton Gate is hardly a cauldron of atmosphere at the best of times. Take away the people that try to give the team and crowd a 'lift' is nothing short of ridiculous.

I see some bloke has posted on the SL forum about people abusing the officials and "is this exceptable at BCFC". IT'S FOOTBALL, THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE DO! You abuse officals, shout at players, eat cold pies, get drunk, cheer when you score, sing lots of songs YES SOME WITH SWEAR WORDS IN THEM, and try to create a great atmosphere, which will hopefully inspire BCFC to victory.

Whatever is going on, what has happened to our supporters???

Keep singing G-Block

This swearing thing is just another step towards making Ashton Gate a total library :disapointed2se: ; Smoking swearing standing singing give us an area where all can be done and I guarantee it will be the first to fill every game :dunno::pray:

Red Goblin

That does not sound that stupid regarding "god save the queen", some gimp at my uni a few years ago said that we should scrap God Save The Queen because of the multi-cultural society that we have, and that not everyone believs in god, so it does not represent them. Course, I told him to ##** off and i got thrown out of the building.

Anyhow, i don't see swearing as a problem, they are going to hear it in films / tv / magazines / songs / walking in the street even. I've been going to watch City for about 14 years now and i've heard bad langauage at every game. It just builds up the tense atmosphere, or the lack of in our case this season. I agree with Glos Boy about the Ashton Gate "library"

It's called the nanny state!

A lot of you voted for it now we all have to live with it.

Yeh right, since when did any of us get to vote to change the unelected British Government Queen and unelected House of Lords? Very undemocratic - the Queen and her House of Lords cronies are in government by 'birthright' not because they were voted in. This country is more of a 'Royalist Police State' run by elitist toffs and snobs rather than a 'nanny state' there to nanny us for our greater good.

The only thing the monarchy has to do with the current legislation is that the poor old girl has to read the dross out at the state openning of parliment.

Prince Phillip for my money is a secret memeber of the Y.S.C he's the only remainning public figure that hasn't heard of political correctness. I expect one of the infamous letters has a London post code!

I've chuckeld at your anti-royal quips for some time but remember once the Lord Protector (genuine article) had passed on, his self interested and corrupt subordinates made a right pigs ear of things and Charlie's boy was returned from exile!

Que abuse!

Did you know Cromwell was the first ever Labour Dictator. He banned Christmas so that people could save more in pensions, after squandering the nations pension fund on wart removal therapy.

Hundreds of years later Tony B LAIR wastes the nations pension funds on NHS operations for transexuals and employing scientists to find a cure to his wifes face.

Not sure about Prince Phillip the Greek being a member of the YSC, only cider head himself would know for sure as he vets all potential posters on the subber forum. Richard Harris starring as Oliver Cromwell in the film "Cromwell" would definately qualify as a yellow subber as he's clearly shown going into battle against the Royalists wearing yellow marigold gloves. :w00t:
